Ben Ruwe, founded Superior Janitor Supply in 1960. Ben previously worked as a route driver for his father's laundry business, Superior Linen Co., and often peddled mops and brooms on the side as he made his stops in various factories to pick up uniforms to be washed. Ben was only one of many siblings who worked at the laundry, and as a result probably would have remained a route driver for the company if he had not seen this opportunity to start his own business. At the age of forty-three, Ben ventured full time into the janitor supply business and continued working untill his late eighties. Superior Janitor Supply grew from a few mops and brooms to being one of the largest suppliers in Greater Cincinnati. Ben passed away in 2003. Superior Janitor Supply, Inc. is now owned and operated by Ben's daughter and son-in-law,Gail and Larry Lamping.

Superior Janitor Supply, Inc. is an independently owned and operated distributor of commercial cleaning and facility maintenance products, serving Greater Cincinnati and beyond since 1960. Orders, for local deliveries, are processed and usually ship next day via company trucks to your facility. We also ship via UPS and other 3rd party freight carriers to anywhere in the United States. Our business is open to walk in customers Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. We accept
all major credit cards, cash, or check. Customers may also set up an account with net billing terms upon credit approval.
